Delayed Start Days:
The CSD has a staggered bus schedule to support the numbers and social distancing on school busses. In the case of a delay, BRES student drop off will be moved from 7:30 am to 9:30am.
To then have buses cleaned and sent back out for the high school students, there would be a significant delay pushing the start time after 11:00 am, therefore
*ALL BRHS students will be expected to attend school remotely on a Boothbay-Boothbay Harbor CSD delayed school opening days. Our students and staff are well versed in how to access classes online and expectations for distance learning. One Cohort would already be scheduled for a distance learning day, we would direct the Cohort scheduled to be in-person to log onto classes from home following the schedule below.
On these days we will run an amended class schedule. Classes would run from 10 am - 2 pm with a scheduled break and transition time for students to log off of one class before logging on to their next class. All students are expected to attend classes synchronously. Attendance will be taken during each class. The BRHS office staff will be checking on and following up on attendance as they do on a traditional school day.
Please let us know if your student is experiencing any technology challenges and we will help by connecting them to our amazing Tech Team.
Delayed start and snow days will not impact the set Cohort In-person Schedule, it will continue to follow Cohort A: Monday and Thursday, Cohort B: Tuesday and Friday. Thank you!
