All Southport Island residents are encouraged to come out and celebrate this year's sixth grade graduates of the Southport Central School: Abby Amaral, Lilly Burnham, Sarah Harris, Harry Hinckley, Eleanor Marshall, Cameron Payson, Trey Tibbetts and Ella Watts. Join us on Thursday, June 4th, as the graduates are paraded around the island in their family car. The procession will begin by Robinson's Wharf at 6:30pm and will proceed along Hendricks Hill Road by Newagen and turning left onto the Cross Road, then proceeding back to its starting point. We hope all residents will maintain safe distancing guidelines while standing somewhere along this route to cheer for these children. Bring banners, posters, balloons, noisemakers, or just your desire to celebrate these children...the more the merrier, the louder the better. The rain date for this event is Friday, June 5th at 6:30pm. Any questions should be directed to Principal Lisa Clarke at 633-3132 or lclarke@aos98schools.org
