Dear Boothbay-Boothbay Harbor CSD Families, Staff, and Community Members,

We want to share a brief update on the fuel tank project and heating in both school buildings.

BRES is heating as it should. Following a few last-minute setbacks at BRHS, we are hopeful that the high school’s heating system will be up and running by Tuesday.

While the high school boilers have not yet been running, our facilities team continues to conduct temperature checks. The building has been holding steady at 65–70 degrees.

We appreciate the continued work of our facilities team and contractors, along with the patience of our students, staff, and families. We will share another update as the remaining work at BRHS is completed.

Warmly,

Jenn Whitney, CSD School Board Chair
