Welcome to the Nest, Class of 2030!

Boothbay Region High School’s Freshmen Orientation was a massive success! Today, our newest Seahawks officially kicked off their high school journey with an action-packed day full of school spirit, exploration, and new connections.

From the opening welcome by our principal and staff to navigating campus during the BRHS Scavenger Hunt, the Class of 2030 jumped right into high school life. Freshmen got set up with their Chromebooks and Yondr pouches, met their advisors, and walked through their full Blue and Gold schedules to introduce themselves to teachers and get an exciting sneak peek at their upcoming courses.

Highlights from the day included:

• Campus & Tech Setup: Equipping students with their tech tools and helping them find their way around the building through an advisor-led scavenger hunt.

• Course Introductions: Experiencing mini-sessions of all 8 class periods (Blue and Gold) to ask questions and meet their teachers.

• Upperclassman & Guidance Panels: Hearing directly from student leaders about getting involved in sports, clubs, and high school academics, alongside guidance support overview.

• Team Building: Capping off the afternoon with high-energy class activities with staff and peers in the Gym!

We loved seeing the curiosity, smiles, and school spirit throughout the hallways today. A huge thank you to our administration, guidance team, staff, and upperclassmen mentors who helped make our incoming freshmen feel right at home.
