BRHS Principal's Welcome

Dear Boothbay Region High School Students, Families, and Community Members,

As the Principal of Boothbay Region High School, it is with great pride that I write this letter of introduction to the 2021-2022 school year. I am honored to have the opportunity to lead a school with such persevering students, an extremely dedicated staff and a supportive school community. We are here to prepare our students and engage our communities.

This is my second year as the BRHS Principal, previous to this position I served for 5 years as the Assistant Principal of the Boothbay Region Elementary School. I have been dedicated to the field of education for over twenty-five years. I have worked with students ranging in age from Pre-Kindergarten through 12th grade in a variety of roles. I am beyond thrilled to share my skills as an educational leader with Boothbay Region High School and to work with you as a partner in education to ensure each child’s success.

BRHS has worked hard to provide programs and activities that benefit our students and serve as a source of pride in our community. We are preparing students for an ever-changing world that will require them to be lifelong learners that are adept with technology and part of a global society. There truly is something for everyone here, with over 90 individual course offerings, including numerous Advanced Placement courses, more than 20 athletic teams, and multiple programs in fine and performing arts.

Staff members, students and families must work together to move our school forward, ensure that all children are receiving the best education possible and make certain that we all feel comfortable, safe and supported. The collaboration, collegiality and teamwork that go on within the walls of the Boothbay Region High School is truly amazing. Above all else, I want BRHS to continue to be a “great place to learn!”

I view education as a lifelong process and expect that the uniqueness of BRHS will continue to grow and provide numerous educational experiences for all. I am excited to unite my experience, my openness to learn, and my passion for education to support our students. The relationships between families, community and the schools are vital to the success of our students. I encourage you to become involved in every way possible. I look forward to working with each of you.

Sincerely,

Principal Campbell
